My firm actually has an office in India and one of these days I’m going there so I started to chat on Omegle India to get an idea of what people are like there. I met lots of interesting people – not just girls who are smart and also want to have fun but even real tech guys who chat on Omegle during down time. I’m geeky enough to chat with them and know what they’re talking about, and one of the programmers even saved me about $300 on some software I need because he told me where to find an open source alternative. Then he introduced me to his sister – at first I thought it was a joke but it wasn’t. She’s on her way to New York City to study because they have family in the area and she really wanted to know what to expect. She was kind of young for me but really cute and sweet so I had a great time and we didn’t realize we were talking for three hours. We exchanged information so if I’m around when she is I’ll take her to the museums or help her get what she needs when she comes in.
The next time I had a chance I tried the Omegle India chat rooms and had some real fun. I figured out fast who was for real and who wasn’t, and even the real Indians who were fooling around were funny and annoying, but in a harmless way. I was kind of staying in the background and working while I had chat open, but still I had a good time reading what people had to say about politics and Bollywood and just about everything else. I don’t know when I am going to India but I know I’ll like it there if the people on Omegle India are any indication of what people there are all about.
